Made up of two adjoining areas totalling over 700sqm, The Bays are our most popular event space. Built in 1932 for cotton stock, and later storage for Kellogg’s, McVitie’s and Cadburys, their rich history and interesting architecture make them ideal for corporate and showcase events. A large pre-function space with a feature bar leads into the main room, which is complete with a full AV package. This includes screens and projectors, colour-changing down lighters on the pillars, a PA system, staging, lecterns, mics and relay screens, giving you a hassle-free event solution. DDR from £29
Bright and airy, The Skyhook is named after the Trafford Park chain sculpture, which can be seen through the floor-to-ceiling windows. This well-lit space makes a perfect setting for informal team meetings and breakout sessions during larger events taking place in The Bays. By night, the effervescent glow of the interior lighting, pitched against the skyline of the city beyond, makes The Skyhook an inviting retreat for intimate drinks receptions.
Restored with seating salvaged from an old theatre on the outskirts of Manchester, The Cinema is an ode to simpler times. Accommodating up to 20 guests, The Cinema is a quirky, nostalgic setting for kick-off meetings, screenings, movie viewings and birthday parties. The perfect backdrop to a vintage themed event, this beautiful space is oozing with charm for smaller gatherings.
Draped head to toe in industrialist aesthetic, the Cotton Sheds regularly host enthralling shows and conferences with as many as eight separate areas and room for up to 5,000 people. Built in 1925 as a cotton warehouse, The Cotton Sheds cover an incredible 4,533sqm, making them our largest and most dramatic event space. Each ‘Shed’ varies in size and layout, labelled alphabetically with areas that include a bar/reception and a VIP Mezzanine. Shed A, our most famous space has been home to events produced by top brands; Nike, Heineken, Jeep, The Northern Powerhouse Partnership and BBC Radio 6 Music festival. This vast area within The Cotton Sheds is perfect for launches, conferences, dinners, sporting events and music shows. Sheds B, C, D, E, F and G can be hired collectively as breakout rooms, separate catering areas or exhibition space.
