Mercure Haydock is a stunning Georgian style hotel designed around a landscaped courtyard, boasting a permanent grand marquee perfect for special events. The hotel has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment which included all 135 bedrooms, lounge, bar and Restaurant areas. The refurbishment has been themed around our local tourist attraction, Haydock Park racecourse. The new interiors reflect the equestrian style, with a modern and contemporary setting. We are ideally located between Liverpool and Manchester with excellent motorway access and just 1 mile from Haydock racecourse, the hotel is perfect for both business and leisure guests. Our range of superb event rooms are not only suited to meetings but are also perfect for those special celebrations and social events. There are 3 executive boardrooms that accommodate up to 12 guests and 3 mid-size meeting rooms that can hold up to a maximum of 40 delegates. Our large event suite can hold up to 300 delegates theatre style or 150 cabaret. The hotel has 135 stylish bedrooms that surround the stunning courtyard that hosts the grand marquee, featuring 127 standard twin/double rooms 4 junior suites and 4 king suites. The hotel also features a fitness & leisure club which includes a 14m swimming pool, gym, sauna, and Jacuzzi and steam room. The Racecourse Suite is located on the ground floor of the hotel, with easy access from the Main Entrance. Is suited for vehicle access within the room. The room breaks down into 3 separate suites, Aintree Suite, Haydock Suite and Chester Suite.
The Ascot Suite is located on the ground floor and is a ideal room for 15 boardroom style. The room has natural daylight and over looks the courtyard.
The Cheltenham Suite is located on the ground floor, directly next door to the Ascot Suite. It has natural daylight and over looks the court yard. Is an ideal room for 15 boardroom style.
The Jockey Suite is located on the ground floor and is the closest meeting room to Reception. It is an ideal room for 15 people boardroom style.
The Birkdale Suite is located on the ground floor, is an adaptable room that can hold 40 Theatre Style, 18 U-Shape, 20 Boardroom Style - It can also be used for a private dinner for 40 people. The room has natural daylight.
The Hoylake Suite is located on the ground. It is a very adaptable room that can easily fit 40 theatre style, 18 U-Shape, 20 Boardroom, 40 Banquet Style and 24 Cabaret. The room has natural daylight and overlooks the Courtyard.
The Newton Suite is located on the first floor of the hotel and is fully self contained. The room can hold 35 Theatre Style, 18 Boardroom Style and 20 Classroom Style.
The Aintree Suite is the first part of the Racecourse Suite if sectioned off. It is an ideal room for a private dinner for 40 people with easy access to a private bar. The room is located on the ground floor with easy access to the Main Reception.
The Haydock Suite is the second part of the Racecourse Suite, Ideal for a meeting for 80 delegates. The room has access for vehicles.
The Chester is located on thr ground floor and can hold 80 people. Has access for vehicles.
The Shergar suite is located on the ground floor, next to Beechers Restaurant. It is a great room for private dining of upto 14 people.
The Grande Marquee is located in the courtyard of the hotel, with easy access to the main building. It can hold 300 Theatre Style, or 230 for a Banquet.
The Wrexham Suite is located on the ground floor and is an ideal room for small meetings or a private dinner for up 15 people.
